Introduction
The American Journal of Medical Case Reports (AJMCR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to high-quality case reports, clinical images, and brief case series that illuminate diagnostic reasoning, therapeutic decision-making, and patient safety.
We welcome cases that feature rare diseases and atypical presentations, novel or off-label therapies, adverse drug reactions, perioperative challenges, imaging pearls, point-of-care ultrasound, telemedicine encounters, and multidisciplinary management — including concise reviews that contextualize the case for practitioners and trainees.
Through rigorous peer review and clear reporting (CARE guidelines), AJMCR advances clinical education and the translation of bedside observations into improved patient outcomes.
