Revisiting Aloe and Myrrh Presence on the Shroud of Turin

This article revisits the debated presence of aloe and myrrh on the Shroud of Turin. It examines historical, biblical, scientific and palynological evidence concerning burial ointments and aromatic oils, including the mixture of aloe and myrrh described in the Gospel of John.
