Genesis (11: 1-9): Understanding the Progress of Research on the Shroud of Turin

This article investigates the evolution of scientific research on the Shroud of Turin through an interdisciplinary perspective inspired by the biblical account of the Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1–9). The authors discuss how competition among researchers and conflicting scientific viewpoints may hinder collaborative progress, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation in advancing knowledge about one of history's most debated archaeological and religious artifacts.
